Activities

GWA' s ASA program offers a variety of activities and sports for students in Pre Kinder-G5; gymnastics, soccer, drama, science, chess, robotics, hip hop, basketball, and arts & crafts. Upper School students can choose to participate in activities such as pottery classes, 3D Design & Print, Journalism - GWA Yearbook, hip hop, computer science, FIRST® LEGO® League & World Robot Olympiad™ robotics, and GWA' s own SCHOOL of ROCK.
GWA has established incredibly loyal partnerships with Play & Code Academy, MAD SCIENCE Maroc, Académie de Théâtre Helen O' Grady, Le Petit Champion, GINGA SPORT, and the Association TIBU Maroc. At GWA, the ASA program provides an environment that helps our students develop positive peer relationships. It gives them challenges they can rise to, provides enriching and creative activities they can participate in, and
gives our students opportunities to develop leadership and decision-making skills.

Discover Our ASA Program

Creative Arts

Creativity is at the heart of holistic student development.

We provide students with  the opportunity to explore, express, and expand their imaginations through a diverse range of visual and performing arts. Students engage in hands-on experiences guided by passionate instructors who help them refine their craft while discovering new talents.

Sport

Our after-school sports program provides students with a dynamic opportunity to stay active, build teamwork skills, and develop discipline.

Our sports offerings are designed to encourage healthy habits, physical development, and a love for sports. Students can choose from a variety of age-appropriate and skill-based options across multiple disciplines.

STEM

Our after-school STEM program invites students to explore the exciting world of innovation through hands-on projects, critical thinking, and real-world problem solving.

The program is designed to spark curiosity, develop technical skills, and nurture a passion for discovery.

Competitions At a Glance

Over the past eight years, GWA students have participated in Exhibitions and Tournaments, Regionally, Nationally, and Internationally including the FIRST® LEGO® League World Festival in Houston, Texas. Besides taking part in FIRST® LEGO® League Events.

GWA also participates in the World Robot Olympiad™ and FIRST ® Tech Challenge where students ages 12-18 learn to think like engineers.

Participation in these events  strengthens technical knowledge and develops essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, resilience, and communication. For many of our students, these experiences spark a lifelong interest in engineering, computer science, and innovation, preparing them for future success in both academics and careers.

"GWA did not only equip my mind and build my character, but also developed my capabilities and taught me to take ownership of my actions both outside and inside campus."

Ahmet Amine Mohemmane, Class of 2020
