Student Clubs:
At GWA, student clubs play a vital role in personal growth and community building. That’s why we place strong emphasis on creating spaces where students can lead and collaborate. Club activities develop a sense of unity and belonging while encouraging students to serve their community, develop leadership skills, and work alongside peers from diverse backgrounds, all driven by their own passions and interests.
Service Learning:
Service Learning is a core component of our curriculum, developed to connect classroom learning with real-world action.
Through service projects, students engage in activities that address community needs while developing critical skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership. These experiences encourage students to reflect on their role in society and understand the impact they can make as compassionate global citizens.
Service Learning at GWA is an integrated approach where students apply knowledge from various subjects to design and implement projects with purpose.

International Travel Opportunities
At GWA, we believe that international experiences are important to developing globally-minded leaders, and we provide our students with unique opportunities to engage in travel programs around the world.
One of the highlights of student life at GWA is participation in international conferences and events, such as Model United Nations (MUN). Through MUN, our students travel to global destinations to represent countries, debate pressing world issues, and collaborate with peers from diverse cultural backgrounds. These experiences sharpen critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills while fostering a sense of global responsibility.
Why it matters
Traveling internationally allows students to step outside their comfort zones, develop resilience, and appreciate the richness of cultural diversity. These experiences encourage students to think critically about global issues, practice empathy, and grow into confident, well-rounded individuals prepared to lead in an interconnected world.
Field Trips
Field trips are an integral part of our curriculum, offering students hands-on learning opportunities that bring academic concepts to life.
By exploring historical landmarks, visiting cultural sites, engaging with local communities, or discovering the wonders of science and nature, students experience valuable real-world connections to what they learn in class.
Field trips foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. They encourage students to ask questions, make observations, and apply their knowledge in authentic settings, preparing them to become curious, informed, and engaged global citizens.
