University Advising
GWA dedicated counselors serve as valuable mentors, helping students navigate the complex landscape of college options and find their best fit. Through one-on-one meetings, workshops and info-sessions for students and parents, university fairs, and personalized assessments, counselors delve into students' interests, strengths, aspirations, and academic achievements. Students are also provided with access to tools and platforms that assist them to explore the possible career paths that will best suit them.
Armed with this insight, they provide expert advice on potential universities, majors, and career paths that align with each student's unique profile. Each year, the counseling department organizes Career Day and College Reality Check events to help seniors prepare for their higher education life. Carrer Day event provides a unique opportunity for GWA students to explore a world of possibilities beyond the classroom. Distinguished professionals from various industries including parents and alumni participate in the event and share with the students their insights, experiences, and journeys, offering invaluable glimpses into the diverse career paths. Interactive workshops, engaging panel discussions, and networking sessions empower our students to discover their passions, gain a deeper understanding of different professions, and make informed decisions about their future.
Our dedicated alumni, who have charted diverse and successful journeys, serve as invaluable guides in College Reality Check events by sharing their firsthand experiences, and advices.
