Welcome from the Head of School

Greetings from the Head of School:

We are excited to introduce you to our school, Nursery through 12th grade. We have a diverse student body that are engaged in learning. We are preparing the next generation of leaders to serve Morocco and the global community. We do this in a variety of ways.

First, we have an outstanding faculty that are dedicated to student learning. Our faculty is highly educated and come from around the world. They bring with them a 21st century pedagogy that inspires our students to become multilingual, lifelong learners. They love teaching and know that relationship building is also essential to student learning.

Second, we have a character program that nurtures the students’ spirits. While pursuing academic excellence is a given, we also want our students to model integrity and honor cultural diversity. We intentionally build character through monthly character traits, awards, in class lessons, modeling, and in large and small group counselor presentations.

Third, we have great facilities and materials to support our students' learning. We invest in our teachers with both professional development and the most current learning materials. This is essential for students to do hands on learning, service learning, and project based learning. We want our students to tackle real life problems and come up with new solutions within a global context.

Please come and visit us at GWA and see for yourself all we have to offer. We would be happy to give you a tour and to answer any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Sincerely,

Dr. Audrey C. Menard
