GWA's 25th Anniversary Gala: An Evening of Nostalgia, Celebration, and Inspiration
On a magical evening, the GWA community gathered to celebrate a remarkable milestone—our 25th Anniversary Gala. This special event honored the rich history of GWA as an American school in Casablanca, celebrated present achievements, and envisioned a promising future. The evening was a harmonious blend of nostalgia, pride, and excitement, reflecting on the educational journey we have embarked on together.
The gala was an artistic tribute to GWA's legacy, choreographed into three segments representing the past, present, and future. The night began with a warm welcome, followed by a heartfelt speech from our Head of school and our board president, setting the tone for the celebration. A nostalgic 25th Anniversary Video took us down memory lane, reminding everyone of the cherished moments that have shaped our school community.
As we celebrated the present, performances and speeches highlighted the vibrant and diverse achievements of our students and staff. The Alma Mater music performance was a touching reminder of our shared bond, and as the song proudly states: 'Both to the East and to the West, a beacon for the world to see, you shine a light above the rest, George Washington Academy.'
Proceeding with the event, special interviews with long-serving staff members, alumni, and parents brought personal stories to life, showcasing the unique experiences and memories that make GWA special.
The gala dinner was a feast, and attendees enjoyed a delicious meal while sharing joyful moments with friends and family. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and conversation, fostering a strong sense of community.
