High School

Building Foundations for the Future!

Grades 9-12

High school students at GWA deepen their academic journey within the IB Diploma program, which emphasizes inquiry, critical analysis, and a global perspective.

Building on the foundational skills developed in middle school, students engage in advanced coursework that encourages independence and self-motivation, developing their ability to analyze complex topics and explore different viewpoints. This college-preparatory curriculum provides a challenging academic environment that promotes intellectual curiosity and prepares students for the demands of higher education.

High School Approach

High School at GWA is a transformative time as students prepare for life beyond school, building on their skills and strengths while exploring future academic and career paths. In grades 11 and 12, students at GWA can choose between two rigorous graduation pathways: the traditional high school diploma and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP), each offering unique challenges and opportunities tailored to students' aspirations.
