Early Childhood
GWA’s early childhood program provides a fun and nurturing place for young children to grow and learn.
GWA's early childhood program provides a fun and nurturing place for young children to grow and learn. It begins with Discovery for three-year-old students, Pre-K for four-year-olds, and Kindergarten for five-year-olds. Early Childhood instruction is guided by play, inquiry, and exploration of various themes. Students learn through various interactions including artistic expression, song, and story.
Early Childhood at GWA is a place for children to grow by asking big questions, learning from their failures, and helping others. GWA supports their youngest learners as they cultivate independence and develop blocks of lifelong learning.
The creative curriculum
At GWA, we believe that every child is a unique individual with an innate curiosity and an eagerness to explore the world around them. That's why we have embraced The Creative Curriculum approach, a dynamic and research-based method designed to nurture your child's natural desire to learn, grow, and thrive.
Social-Emotional Development:
Through positive relationships and supportive environments, children learn to express their emotions, build relationships, and develop essential social skills that lay the foundation for future success.
Physical Development:
Our curriculum encourages physical well-being and the development of fine and gross motor skills through various activities and exercises, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
Cognitive Development:
By engaging with thoughtfully designed learning and open-ended activities, children are encouraged to think critically, solve problems, and make connections between ideas.
