Meet our Director of Teaching & Learning

It is my honor as the Director of Teaching and learning to welcome you to George Washington Academy, an exceptional community committed to educating and bringing out the best in our students and equipping them with skills for their future. As a " GWA Family", we believe strong relationships are fundamental to supporting the growth and development of every child. This includes partnering with teachers, administration, parents, and our community to provide the best experience for our students.

At GWA, we also celebrate the diversity and skill of our international teaching staff representative of 22 different countries. We set high standards for ongoing growth and development among our teachers to meet the individualized needs of our students by providing job-embedded professional development.

In addition to strong academics in Preschool-Grade 12, we offer a unique language acquisition program beginning in our early years program that values English, French, and Arabic fostering a multilingual approach to learning. GWA also extends learning outside the school day by providing extensive after-school programming where students have opportunities to enrich and enhance their educational experience.

At GWA, our teachers are committed to rigorous academic programming, innovative and adaptive approaches, and attention to students' social, emotional, and physical well-being. Our aim at GWA is to equip every child with lifelong skills, habits for learning, and a solid character foundation to become contributing citizens of our global community.
