George Washington Academy

We are celebrating the 40th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22, 2010. The Business Advertising class is organizing a big event in school that day to raise awareness about the environment amongst our fellow students and hence our community. We will have several activities on campus for the young ones and field trips for the older ones throughout the day. A picnic lunch and a concert is also planned for the whole school. We are hoping that this event will make people think about these different environmental issues and how humans are responsible for it in one way or another.

Our Art Exhibition will be the first opus of the “Initiative Art & Environment.” It will take place 17:30-21:30 January 28th to February 5th (Closed Sunday January 31). It will be open to all – lovers of the Arts and Nature in Morocco and beyond, including (among others) our students, parents and staff. It will be a unique carrefour of experiences and talents geared towards keeping Morocco Beautiful.
